Could I Rock This Look? Public Opinion Poll
I need your opinion. I'm thinking of getting my hair cut in a style similar to the pictures below (the style in the first picture is a little longer than I was thinking. Think Natalie Portman meets Keira Knightly), but wanted to know what you guys think first. My main questions are 1) would this hair cut look good considering my face shape and body proportions? and 2) do you think I could pull off this look in general? Just wanting to know what you think. Be brutally honest.

I think it would look fabulous on you. But I also think if you were to do this look, you'd have to go more drastic on your color so it looks more intentionally-fierce and less accidental-boycut (KWIM?) I'm thinking very dark brown or back to red... or tipped like Keira's. Even the brunette cut (the first one) has foiled caramel highlights to give it more texture. Just my $.02
ReplyDeleteAlso, be advised that short 'dos require more regular maintenance in order to look good. I'm already due for a trim on mine.
I think it would look really good on you. Yes what Jen said, you will have to cut it more but it will still require less time to do something with than a long cut (other than putting it up in a ponytail). I agree with Jen on the coloring, go crazy!
ReplyDeleteAlso you are gonna need to make sure you wear things other than oversized boy clothes, otherwise you might be mistaken for one... that is just my opinion tho.
Agree, agree and agree. I love the haircut and think you could definitely pull it off. Drastic highlights would be really great with it.

I figured I should give my $.02 since I'm more on the conservative side of things (that way you have different opinions). It's wild & different and I definitely can see you having such a style. You'd look good when any style, though. I dig the longer style more than the shorter Kiera version. I agree with Kassie with you being mistaken for a boy if you are still into wearing sweats & baggy sweatshirts all the time. If you're up to constantly have to maintain such a look and always having to fit that look daily, then go for it!......

I agree with Viv on the longer rather than the shorter one, bu tI guess if you take it shorter you can wear it as the shorter AND the longer before getting it cut... unless that doesn't work, I am a noob as far as hair cutting/upkeep goes
ReplyDeleteGo for it! I like the first cut the best. Make sure, though, that you get someone who knows what they're doing. Remember the last time you took it really short? The person cutting it had no idea what they were doing....
